Types of installation selects：
There are many types of SK2 mufflers of this company. except normal type, customer-made muffler due to limited space can be dispatched to customer within 7~10 days after ordering.
All designed and manufactured normal mufflers are suitable for most engines and size as well operation methods are also available as customer's need. Galvanized and stainless steel materials are available. Specifications of products are as follows Illustrations are for reference.

The SK2-15:The SK2-15 is a standard industrial environment where ambient noise levels are required form moderate to high. This series was specifically designed to reduce total engine exhaust noise 10dBA-15dBA
The SK2-25: The SK2-25 is a stand residential environment where ambient noise levels are required from moderate to low. This series was specifically designed to reduce total engine exhaust noise 20dBA-25dBA
The SK2-35：The SK2-35 is a stand ultra environment where ambient noise are required in low level. This series was specifically designed to reduce total engine exhaust noise 30dBA-35dBA
The SK2-45:The SK2-45 is a stand ultra critical and hospital grade environment where ambient noise is required more strict than SK2-35. The SK2-45 can provide the better acoustic quiet effect.This SK2-45 series was specifically designed to reduce total engine exhaust noise 40dBA-45dBA.
There are details of size and volume of silencer, from 2" to 24" caliber for 10 to 3000HP engine,curve statistics of noise reductions and step-down for customer to select.

How to choose silencer
The exhaust of diesel generator is harmful and high temperature. Therefore, the design of exhaust system is very crucial; if exhaust system makes the reverse pressure of generator exceed the standard, it will affect functions of generator and shorten the interval of maintenance. Hence, the system is shorter,the obstruction is smaller(and reverse pressure). The curved part inside the system also affects the obstruction a lot , so while choosing muffler, size must match the size, length of whole piping caliber, and consider total reverse pressure produced by bending.
Improper choice of silencer will result of the following effects:
Situation one:lack of choice grade silencer, in addition to causing noise problems caused nearby residents to protest, but also may have been denounced environmental unit billing.
Situation Two:In the engine exhaust flow rate fixed, the choice of silencer diameter is too small, will result in increased flow caused by pressure is too high, indirect damage to the engine.
Situation Three:in recent years with poor quality of his brand Silencer, the noise source for the sake of more stagnation chamber and blocking the exhaust, resulting in high back pressure caused by muffler exploded, the owners of huge losses due to downtime compensation issues arising the user can not accidentally.
